To add a What's On item, click on What's On in the navigation tree and click on the Add New button.
Enter the title and the Display From and To dates, when you click in the date boxes a dropdown calendar will appear for you to select your dates. If you are using a ticketing system i.e. Spektrix these fields are not required.
If an event has a lot of instances, e.g. Mon 10 July, Wed 12 July, Thurs 13 July, Sat Sat 15 July they can be tidied up by typing in a date range in the Date Display Text box. e.g. 'Mon 10 - Sat 15 July' or 'Various Times'
If an event is weekly you can check the relevant day boxes. Again, if you are using a ticketing system i.e. Spektrix these fields are not required.
Brief Description - this text will appear either under or rolling over the small image on the listings page. It has a character counter so that you can add in the correct amount of characters for the space allocated on the front end.

The Availability Flash - this is a manual system that allows you to put a flash across the image of the event. e.g. Selling Fast
You will also find this under Dates and Times, however is driven by the event API of your Box Office System and displays the status of the event on the instance button. You can manually override this in the CMS.
